COMPASSIONATE EXPERT SPECIALISTS…PROVEN CLINICAL OUTCOMES

the 4-1-1 about Dr. Kaczmarek, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Pamela (Pam) Kaczmarek is the founding owner and licensed clinical psychologist at Pronk Professional Services, LLC, a boutique private practice dedicated to offering specialized professional services to individuals and organizations nationwide.

THE IMPETUS

Frustrated by the rigid constraints of large healthcare systems and the decisions made by underinformed insurance personnel, Dr. Kaczmarek was inspired to create a private practice that could focus on individualized care within her highly specialized niche areas. She recognized that most of her patients had previously been misdiagnosed, resulting in erroneous or inadequate treatments and leaving them feeling frustrated and hopeless.

After quietly establishing her practice, it quickly gained momentum through word of mouth. Pronk Professional Services is now known for providing expert care, delivered by clinical psychologist Dr. Kaczmarek, a licensed Doctor of Clinical Psychology recognized by the state board.

The outpatient practice delivers direct patient care from doctoral-level clinicians and highly trained specialists within their niche. The mission is clear: to achieve meaningful, measurable patient outcomes. Dr. Kaczmarek continually refines her expertise in psychologically and clinically challenging areas to ensure cutting-edge, effective treatment.

Dr. Kaczmarek is deeply passionate about her specialty, with clients often noting her boutique attentiveness, emotional intelligence, kindness, and wit. Delivering impactful, life-changing, compassionate, and ethical care while upholding the highest gold standards is the foundation of Professional Services, LLC.

Growth and healing is our passion

CLINICAL CARE...

Alongside her professional clinical training programs, she delivers direct clinical care to her patients using a range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Somatic Experiencing, Talk Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

These (and other) approaches are designed to tackle the physiological challenges associated with trauma, anxiety-related disorders, and depression. She also provides innovative, state-of-the-art experiential therapy.

Healing is in your horizon

SCHOOLED IN CHICAGO...

Her educational background includes earning her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago — an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program — as well as a Master of Arts in Clinical Professional Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Columbia, and an Associate’s Degree in Science. She is a licensed clinical psychologist in Wisconsin with expertise in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), psychological trauma, including complex and developmental trauma, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic, phobias, Hoarding Disorder, OC Spectrum Disorders, and anxiety. Her Doctoral dissertation is entitled: Conceptualizing the Chaos behind Compulsive Hoarding: Nosological Considerations, Clinical Implications, and Future Directions.

We are licensed doctors with expertise in our field.

SPECIALIST IN COMPLICATED ARENAS...

She has specialized training to treat PTSD, complex PTSD (c-PTSD), and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) from the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) and the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), which address challenging issues such as OCD, Compulsive Hoarding Disorder, and a variety of OC Spectrum Disorders.

She also works with dental and medical phobias, eating disorders, and grief. She is Trauma Counseling Level II Certified by the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee School of Continuing Education. Additionally, she has completed EMDR training through EMDRIA and has achieved EMDR Level II — the highest level of training — for treating psychological trauma and promoting healing.

Healing IS possible with the right roadmap and support system

PASSION FOR HER CAREER...

While in graduate school, Dr. Kaczmarek‘s academia training included a full-year practicum at the Youth Service Bureau where she worked with at-risk youth and families while attaining her Master’s Degree in Clinical Professional Psychology

Additionally, for well over two decades, Pam worked part-time “behind the scenes” at an international Industrial/Organizational Psychology organization with I/O psychologists.

After attaining her Master’s, she continued on for a doctorate degree, which included a full-year externship in adult neuropsychology at The Memory Center: The University of Chicago Center for Comprehensive Care and Research on Memory Disorders, as well as an additional full-year externship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s Stone Institute of Psychiatry Outpatient Treatment Center.

Balance. Compassion. Expertise.

ECLECTIC BALANCE...

Dr. Kaczmarek considers herself to be a true eclectic practitioner using evidence-based and evidence-informed methods while drawing on the synergistic powers of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Experiential Therapy. She uses Somatic Experiencing® (SE) originated by Dr. Peter Levine PhD and EMDR to address deeply rooted psychological traumas with patients, as well as CBT, Talk Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure.

Dr. Pam (as many of her patients refer to her) completed her full time Clinical Psychology Internship and Post-Doc training years at a large non-profit hospital consortium in Wisconsin.

She delivers therapy, training, consulting, custom presentations, forensic testing, and clinical therapeutic services aimed at treating conditions such as complex PTSD (cPTSD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), atypical anxieties, trauma, and related issues both directly and indirectly.

She provides evidence-based treatments for conditions such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), stress management, anxiety, depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Hoarding Disorder, and trauma.

Providing expert direct care, training, consulting, and education worldwide.

PROVIDING A RANGE OF SERVICES...

Dr. Kaczmarek has been called upon to provide services to clients who represent defendants in Court and provides services such as forensic testing, diagnostic clarification, second opinion, consultation, report writing, letters to the Court, and expert court witness for trial cases within her expertise. She is certified in Child & Family Studies, and is a Wisconsin State Court Certified Family & Divorce Mediator.

In addition to the impact of psychological trauma on the brain, hoarding disorder, and OCD, her growing clinical interests include novel approaches to chronic pain management, the neurobiology of human attachment, and interpersonal neurobiology (see Dan Siegel MD, Allan Schore PhD, and Stephen Porges PhD), working with first responders (police, fire fighters, combat and non-combat Veterans, etc.), and professional/athletic psychological performance enhancement.

Not sure which way to go? We can help.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES...

Dr. Kaczmarek travels throughout the country delivering her full day continuing education seminar on Hoarding Disorder for PESI / Cross Country Education where she applies adult learning methods combined with clinical case examples and cleverly timed humor to passionately train professionals. She also maintains her private practice where she sees patients on an outpatient basis (Pronk Professional Services, LLC in Kenosha, Wisconsin). She is consistently recognized for her genuine passion (as well as compassion), humor, being “present”, and continually staying knowledgeable in her field. She works directly with Police, Firefighters and various members of law enforcement immediately after critical incidents in order to mitigate long term psychological damage.

Pronk is a verb!
